The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit range / performance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off . So for next activation starter relay 2, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
04039 Possible Causes:
04039 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 04039 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c request b, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
