04038 Description And Summary : |

When you open torque management feedback signal "b" retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low or ng high pressure valve (n372), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
04038 Possible Causes:
04038 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 04038 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic pressure sensor 1, too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
