When you open throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e' / 'f', voltage correlation causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system fuel pressure regulator valve (n276), mechanical malfunction or valve for pump - jet, cylinder 6 (n245), electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
04036 Possible Causes:
04036 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
