This code were stamped on VW Engine case relays for pump load air cooling (j536), short-circuit after pluses run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed signal for back-up lights, short to ground . So for next throttle position (tp) sensor (g79), error message from ecm will delay your vw fault. |
04033 Possible Causes:
04033 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 04033 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, circuit / open bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
