04031 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes after kat exchanges run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed valve for exhaust cooling agent (n313), interruption / short-circuit after mass . On the other hand starter does not run, mechanically blocked or mechanical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
04031 Possible Causes:
04031 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04031 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'h' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
