04026 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit / open the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles signal buzzer activation, short to b+ or b camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
04026 Possible Causes:
04026 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04026 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, missing message from level control module (j197)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
