Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor data bus powertrain, implausible message from control module fuel pump and exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 2, out of range is the final reason of the code. |
04026 Possible Causes:
04026 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 04026 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, rich control limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
