The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ecm/pcm power input, signal retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e' / 'f', voltage correlation or exhaust bank 2 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded will delay your vw fault. |
04026 Possible Causes:
04026 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04026 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, implausible message of the control module central electrics
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
