When you open intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 2 or idle speed control throttle position 2, electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
04023 Possible Causes:
04023 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 04023 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
