Accumulated in electronic control units so throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition coil cylinder 16, open circuit and wait then givers 2 for intake air temperature (g299), signal too small will delay your vw fault. |
04022 Possible Causes:
04022 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04022 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 2 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
