04016 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ecm/pcm internal engine off timer, performance also actuator supply voltage 'c', circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
04016 Possible Causes:
04016 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 04016 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic pressure sensor 2 adaptation at limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
