Staring in engine bank 4, o2 correction behind catalyst, b1, limit attained causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system activation 2-unit injector valve, electrical malfunction or intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck open will delay your vw fault. |
04015 Possible Causes:
04015 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 04015 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, system too rich at idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
