Staring in engine shift up/down wire, short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, short to b+ and generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
04014 Possible Causes:
04014 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 04014 Code
- Inspect all the connections angle sensors 1 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g297), signal too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
