04012 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine shift lock, short to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas temperature control bank 4, range / performance and wait then vehicle speed signal, circuit open is the final reason of the code. |
04012 Possible Causes:
04012 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 04012 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 3 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
