The problem is about evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor control of valves pump / nozzle, electrical errors in the electric circuit . So for next evaporative emission system vent (n115), valve stuck open is the final reason of the code. |
04012 Possible Causes:
04012 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 04012 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
