When you open evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck closed . On the other hand reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
04008 Possible Causes:
04008 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04008 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
