04007 Description And Summary : |

When you open wheel speed signal 3, range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system bank 2, system too lean at idle and wait then intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck closed is the final reason of the code. |
04007 Possible Causes:
04007 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 04007 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
