04006 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with intake manifold runner bank 1 control, basic setting aborted mechanical limit closed causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 2 also exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, inner resistance implausible is the final reason of the code. |
04006 Possible Causes:
04006 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 04006 Code
- Inspect all the connections relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
