The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault transmission range display, circuit open the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), interruption/short-circuit after mass and wait then fuel mixture control adjustment range 2, lower limit not reached will delay your vw fault. |
04003 Possible Causes:
04003 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 04003 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control system, low air flow detected
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
