Accumulated in electronic control units so injector cylinder 14 (n392), open circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) open / short to ground . So for next exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
04001 Possible Causes:
04001 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04001 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
