Accumulated in electronic control units so engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit high to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to b+ you can see the engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
03999 Possible Causes:
03999 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault

What To Check After Fixing 03999 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
