Diagnosing engine bar with ecm/pcm power input, signal intermittent to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so power supply, malfunction or change intake manifold runner bank 1 control, basic setting aborted mechanical limit closed is the final reason of the code. |
03997 Possible Causes:
03997 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 03997 Code
- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
