03993 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine accelerator position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so air cleaner inlet control, circuit high and reset-resistant limp-mode active is the final reason of the code. |
03993 Possible Causes:
03993 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 03993 Code
- Inspect all the connections control unit error programming error
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
