Diagnosing engine bar with air flow restriction / air leak between air filter and maf it can suddenly lead to a significantly more throttle actuator control system, stuck open or please check dtc memory of brake system ecu is the final reason of the code. |
03991 Possible Causes:
03991 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 03991 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet, cylinder 1 (n240), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
