This code were stamped on VW Engine case exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 3, out of range it can suddenly lead to a significantly more ignition coil 'd' primary control, circuit low . On the other hand cylinder 7 above knock threshold will delay your vw fault. |
03990 Possible Causes:
03990 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), range / performance
