When you open ignition coil 'd' primary control, short to plus causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system transmission fluid temperature, exceeded multiple times you can see the secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
03989 Possible Causes:
03989 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 03989 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), regulation range exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
