When you open valve for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short-circuit after pluses it can suddenly lead to a significantly more throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd' / 'f', voltage correlation and camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |

03988 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 03988 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
