Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles fuel pump 2 circuit, electrical malfunction and altitude adaptation, signal out of tolerance is the final reason of the code. |
03987 Possible Causes:
03987 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
