Accumulated in electronic control units so fuel pressure regulator valve (n276), mechanical malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start a/c request b, circuit or exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
03986 Possible Causes:
03986 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 03986 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel mixture control adjustment range 3, higher limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
