The problem is about evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, performance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles vehicle speed sensor 'b', intermittent / erratic / high or system too rich at higher load, bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
03984 Possible Causes:
03984 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 03984 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
