Diagnosing engine bar with glow plug/heater relay circuit, electrical mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to ground and control of valves pump / nozzle, short-circuit after pluses will delay your vw fault. |
03983 Possible Causes:
03983 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 03983 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant (fc) fan control module (j293), malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
