Accumulated in electronic control units so data bus powertrain, missing message from airbag controller causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), electrical malfunction or change exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, no activity is the final reason of the code. |
03981 Possible Causes:
03981 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03981 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) / (g185), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
