The problem is about coolant degassing valve, control circuit high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean and cylinder 3 above knock threshold will delay your vw fault. |
03972 Possible Causes:
03972 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet, cylinder 2 (n241), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
