Diagnosing engine bar with control of valves pump / nozzle, short-circuit after pluses mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit intermittent you can see the exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
03967 Possible Causes:
03967 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 03967 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
