The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault power supply (b+) terminal 15, implausible to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so power supply, malfunction or sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal high will delay your vw fault. |
03962 Possible Causes:
03962 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03962 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
