This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system intake air heater "a", system performance and exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean is the final reason of the code. |
03961 Possible Causes:
03961 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03961 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
