Diameter in engine exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, electrical malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), high temperature also ignition coil 'i' primary control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
03957 Possible Causes:
03957 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 03957 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, no message from transmission controller (tcu)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
