The problem is about relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to b+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more ignition coil 'l' primary control, circuit low you can see the please check dtc memory of adr control module is the final reason of the code. |
03951 Possible Causes:
03951 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 03951 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes before kat exchanges
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
