When you open oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit low . On the other hand throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
03944 Possible Causes:
03944 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 03944 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, implausible message from level control module (j197)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
