The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault cylinder 12 above knock threshold causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, no activity or activation starter relay 2, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
03938 Possible Causes:
03938 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03938 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
