Diagnosing engine bar with pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), open / short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more bank 1, system too lean off idle also nox trap, efficiency below threshold (bank 1) is the final reason of the code. |
03933 Possible Causes:
03933 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 03933 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
