When you open coolant fan (v7), open circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit electrical malfunction . On the other hand change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, performance or stuck off will delay your vw fault. |
03918 Possible Causes:
03918 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 03918 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
