The problem is about ignition coil 'g' secondary circuit, malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit rpm too high you can see the power supply (b+) terminal 15, implausible is the final reason of the code. |
03918 Possible Causes:
03918 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical

What To Check After Fixing 03918 Code
- Inspect all the connections drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
