Staring in engine tiptronic switch up, circuit short to ground run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean or change signal buzzer activation, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
03917 Possible Causes:
03917 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 03917 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition switch run position, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
