The problem is about change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, performance or stuck off mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel supply heater, control circuit high and wait then exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |

03898 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 03898 Code
- Inspect all the connections angle sensors 1 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g297), signal too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
