This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', minimum stop performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to ground+ . On the other hand relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
03893 Possible Causes:
03893 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 03893 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
