The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles control module defect or exhaust gas temperature control bank 4, range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
03892 Possible Causes:
03892 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03892 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pump "b" control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
