Staring in engine exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system engine coolant level low or valve for coolant system circuit, low / intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
03890 Possible Causes:
03890 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 03890 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
