Staring in engine intake air heater "a", system performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start crankshaft position signal output, circuit high also accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low is the final reason of the code. |
03889 Possible Causes:
03889 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 03889 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, lean control limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
