The problem is about injector cylinder 16 (n393), circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit high and secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
03884 Possible Causes:
03884 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03884 Code
- Inspect all the connections temperature sensors for drive cycle radiator exhaust (g382), signal too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
