When you open secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles data-bus powertrain, implausible message from transmission controller and o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
03882 Possible Causes:
03882 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 03882 Code
- Inspect all the connections butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), under voltage during basic adjustment
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
