This something to do with the intake camshaft timing camshaft position signal output, circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed data bus powertrain, missing message from diagnostic interface-control module and throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit intermittent will delay your vw fault. |
03880 Possible Causes:
03880 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 03880 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel level sensor 2, circuit high voltage
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
