The problem is about reductant injection air pump control, circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to ground . On the other hand exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
03879 Possible Causes:
03879 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 03879 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
