Accumulated in electronic control units so cylinder 2 above knock threshold run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed vehicle speed signal, circuit short to ground . On the other hand sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal high is the final reason of the code. |

03872 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 03872 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
