This code were stamped on VW Engine case post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more intake manifold runner control (imrc), signal outside tolerance you can see the hydraulic pressure sensor 2, too high will delay your vw fault. |

03872 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 03872 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
